Details of Google’s upcoming Gemini model reportedly leaked
Rumors of a GPT-4 killer from Google have been doing the rounds for quite some time. The Information reported last month that Google had already given a select group of companies access to Gemini, the new LLM from Google.
Now a new blog post from blogger Bedros Pamboukian claims to have access to previously unseen details about the new AI model from Google. Here’s what the blog post claims:
Gemini will replace PaLM-2, Google’s current model of choice, which powers applications such as their Bard chatbot.
Gemini will also be multimodal, which means it may be able to accept and produce images, audio, and video, in addition to text.
A new AI feature called ‘Stubbs’ will enable users to create functioning apps with simple text prompts.
It appears that Gemini will also be able to produce output in different languages.
While these reported leaks seem plausible and exciting, we recommend you take these bits of information with a grain of salt until they’re confirmed by Google or a major publication.

Magic Animate will empower students to generate short video clips and animated slides.
Magic Grab will let you do things like take a picture of a whiteboard or text and redesign it with Canva.
Magic Switch will help users reformat content, such as converting a written draft into a visual presentation.
Translate will make it easy to learn in 100 different languages.
Lesson Builder will help teachers create new lessons.
The tools will also come with new safety controls that will let educators decide what level of access they’re comfortable with.
